About us

Zone Inspection & Services (ZIS) is a Private Limited Company incorporated under the Malaysian Companies Act 1965 since 2013, based in Kemaman, Terengganu. The company is 100% Bumiputera-owned and operated by local Bumiputera professionals.

Zone Inspection & Services Sdn Bhd is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and Petronas and is authorized to provide various specialist services. ZIS was established on 8th May 2003 and became fully operational in October 2013. We provide Quality Management Services in the Oil & Gas, Marine, Petrochemical, Construction, and Power & Energy industries, with a focus on Inspection services.

As a subsidiary of UDPS, Zone Inspection & Services Sdn Bhd (ZIS) specializes in Load Testing, Lifting Equipment Inspection, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Pressure Testing, Tagging Services, Lifeboat Inspection & Services, and Equipment Rental Services.

All ZIS inspector engineers undergo rigorous internal and external training and are subject to regular competency assessments to ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and standards.

Our integrated service package covers a comprehensive range of Load Testing & Lifting Equipment Inspection services, fully aligned with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998/2307 (LOLER).

Inspection Quality Objective

The inspection's quality objectives include:

To upgrade the inspection competency through continuous training of Inspection personnel and their understanding of the implementation of MS ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and IMS. (New personnel or new tasks, maintenance, and upgrading of competency).

To satisfy the customer needs by reducing customer complaints to not more than 4 cases per year (based on job orders)

To achieve 80% timely delivery of inspection reports yearly:

To perform on-time maintenance on equipment within the specified period.

To maintain the facility & equipment conditions

To ensure the inspection equipment and ZIS calibration results have Metrological traceability.

To perform QC and QA program of the ZIS Inspection according to QC & QA Plan and Inter Inspection Comparison (IIC) within 3 years.

To produce an inspection report which meets quality requirements, and content compliance to 7.4 of MS ISO/IEC 17020:2012. Target #1: Achieved 10% typo errors or wrong transfer of data per year Target #2: 98% compliance with the clauses in 7.4 per year
